The Conference held for the third time from 3rd to 4th November in Jena, Germany sees itself as an independent think tank, consisting of companies, developers, scientists and politicians. The Jena IT cluster is becoming increasingly important for the region. To promote this positive development, the free State of Thuringia relies on close cooperation between science, research, industry and politics. An event that the program has made this networking, I support gladly”, so Prime Minister Althaus. Jena has become among the cities of central Germany early the Centre for IT – and software technology. Currently in 73 company employees in Jena in the area of Internet and new media 1050.

28 of them have organized themselves in the E-Commerce cooperative Tower byte EC. Almost all Tower byte members act not only in Germany, but also in the international IT industry.
